Hi, I’m Retta!

I am a wife, mom of 2, Grandma to 3 & dog mama to 1! I find peace in nature and around or on the water, I love to travel and see new places. I’m a voracious reader. I equally appreciate a very good cup of coffee and a fine glass of red wine.

I became an Officiant after a great deal of soul searching and research. Having had a very successful career in Sports Television & Live Entertainment Production for 25 years, I took time to reflect and realign with something more personal. I enrolled in my courses of study and knew that my previous career experience and skills would ensure I would excel. After working so hard on broadcasts and events, it’s time to work on your most important event - your wedding! I love meeting people and how great is it to be around happy and in love couples!

• I create a ceremony that is meaningful, fun, memorable & will wow your guests

• Have the ability to customize ceremony to reflect spiritual or cultural backgrounds and rituals

• I work extremely well under pressure and can cope with changes on the fly

• I will expertly write and conduct a ceremony with all of the various timed components and cues. Very detailed and organized.

• Always present myself professionally

• I am punctual (if you are not early you are late!)

• I’m passionate about helping the community in need and participate in charitable initiatives

• I will likely make new friends wherever I go!

  Retta joyfully offers officiant services to all couples. She is a Reverend through the Canadian International Metaphysical Ministry and may provide services in the Province of Ontario, Canada.
